Fashion tips for late Summer early Fall transition! The Balance of Fashion Forward and Comfort

August 5th, 2014

Transitioning from one season to another is not always easy. It is too warm for wool, too cool for summer clothes. Finding creative ways of transitioning your summer clothes to Fall is as simple as finding the right accessories. Black and brown are a great color combination for Fall, adding a brown belt, bag and short boots to any existing black outfit, makes it look new and puts you at the top of the fashion ladder! Orange has been the color for a couple of seasons now, Fall 2014 is no exception. Use orange as an accent color, a scarf, a pin, a purse, makes anything old new. A pop of color adds confidence to the woman wearing it!
Navy is making its' way into the American Fashion scene, this year it is denim, navy jackets, purses, scarves. Navy is the new black. Search in your closet for that navy bag, jacket, scarf, belt. Incorporate it into you Fall wardrobe and make it the accent piece for the season.
Red always works as an accent color. Add a red jacket to a summer dress and you have a smashing look for Fall.
Many of us hate to say, "good-bye" to summer, let it stay for a few extra weeks by transitioning your Summer look to Fall with just the right accessories.
